1. ENTREPRENEURSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

​

ISTD Ahmedabad Chapter organized the Entrepreneurship Development Program for the students of Government BBA College, KK Shashtri Educational Campus, Khokhra, Ahmedabad on December 31st, 2018. This program was organized by Dr. Nilam Panchal(Chairman, ISTD, Ahmedabad Chapter) and coordinated by Prof.Ritika Thakkar(Member ISTD, Ahmedabad Chapter). The key speaker of the seminar was Mr. Harshal Sanghvi(Member ISTD, Ahmedabad Chapter) gave a talk on Entrepreneurship and Development, in order to develop Entrepreneurship Skills among students and to encourage the Skill India Mission of Government of India. There were more than 100 students who got benefited under this program. ISTD Ahmedabad Chapter launched E-Newsletter of the events that occurred in 2018 on 31st December 2018 under an event Entrepreneurship Development Program which took place at Government BBA College, KK Shashtri Educational Campus, Khokhra, Ahmedabad. The newsletter was launched by Dr.Nilam Panchal, Prof. Ritika Thakkar, Ms. Khushbu Prajapati, Mr.Harshal Sanghvi, and M r. Nishit Shah.

2. INDUSTRIAL VISIT TO IFFCO

 

ISTD Ahmedabad Chapter organized an Industrial visit to Indian Farmer Fertilizer Cooperative Limited (IFFCO) for the students of M BA and P.G. Diploma in Financial M anagement of B.K. School of Business M anagement, Gujarat University on 15th February 2019. As a part of Industrial, Visit students were also taken to Gift City, Gandhinagar, and UGVCL. This visit was organized by Dr.Nilam Panchal in which more than 70 students were benefited.

3. TRAIN THE TRAINERS PROGRAM

Train the Trainers workshop was organized by ISTD Ahmedabad Chapter for training the executives of HR from different organizations on February 2nd, 2019 at B.K. School of Business Management, Gujarat University. The training was conducted by Dr. W.C.Singh. The training went very well and it was an eye-opener for trainers.

4. DIPLOMA IN TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

ISTD Ahmedabad has started the Diploma Classes for batch 80 for the course Diploma in Training and Development. 8 students enrolled in the new batch. Prof. Sameer Pinglen, Mr.Yogesh Chati, Mr.Singh, and Mr.Pankaj Shah are involved in teaching courses. Dr.Nilam Panchal is the coordinator and the faculty for the overall running of the course.

5. FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM ON MOOC.

ISTD Ahmedabad in association with SBT Commerce College, Surat in February,2019 organized Faculty Development Program on MOOC- Preparation of online course and deliverable. The program was conducted by Dr.Nilam Panchal. Training included topics such as how to develop proposal for online courses, how to develop courses, minimum requirements, shooting and studio mechanism, delivery system of online courses, evaluation system of the the courses under Swayam Platform of UGC. The program was successful and motivated faculties to develop online courses. More than 75 faculties were benefited under this program.

6. MANAGEMENT DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

ISTD Ahmedabad Chapter conducted the Management/Executive Development Program on Managing Control Systems in the organization. The program was conducted on 12th February 2019. Executives from different companies participated in this program. This program was conducted by Dr. Nilam Panchal in association with Gujarat University.

7. SEMINAR ON TRANSFER PRICING AND BEPS

ISTD Ahmedabad Chapter in association with B.K.School of Business Management, Gujarat University Organized a seminar on Transfer Pricing and BEPS- The Issues and Challenges in the premises of B.K.School of Business Management on March 12th, 2019. The key speaker of the seminar was Dr.Pawan K.Chugan (Prof., Institute of Management, Nirma University.

8. SEMINAR ON STOCK MARKET

ISTD Ahmedabad Chapter organized a seminar on Stock Market on 2nd April 2019 and on 5th April 2019 at B.K.School of Business Management, Gujarat University. The key speaker of the program was Mr.Nishant Bali (Manager, National Stock Exchange of India Limited) in which he gave practical training of the stock market and taught the concepts. Mr. Nishant also guided on how to invest in the stock market. More than 25 students were benefited under this program.

9. TRAINING ON RESUME BUILDING AND INTERVIEWING SKILLS

ISTD Ahmedabad Chapter organized training on Resume Building and Interviewing Skills on 4th April 2019 at B.K.School of Business Management, Gujarat University. The program was focused on the Importance of Resume Building and the Interview Skills Development among the students. The key speaker of the program was M r.Vikrant Jain. Students were really benefited by the training provided.
